The Hawthorns B&B is located in the village of Mey, home of the Casttle O’Mey, and right between Dunnet Head and the Gills Bay Ferry to Orkney in the neighbourhood of John O’Groats (which also has a Ferry) but there is much to see and do… in the immediate area.
Located just Outside John O’Groats and immediately next to the Castle O’Mey the Hawthorns Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for your North Coast 500 (NC500) tour. The top section of the NC500 actually runs past the entrance to the B&B.
